Newcomer Sam Smith was recruited to as the partner to “The Right Revered” Monty Walton.  As is usually the case for a first timer, Smith is an unknown quantity, though reportedly a player.  He’ll open with quota of 24 points, which may be a little rich for the tough Southern Pines Courses.
